File Manager in Shared Website Hosting
The File Manager tool, that's part of our in-house built Hepsia CP, will allow you to administer all the files that you upload to your shared website hosting account easily. You'll be able to move files and whole folders by dragging-and-dropping them within the account. You can upload content in the same manner - pick a file/folder on your computer and drag it to your Internet browser in which the File Manager is loaded. By right-clicking a file or a folder inside your account, you may also access context menus with more complex options - you shall be able to set up or to unpack an archive, to create a password-protected area, to modify the UNIX permissions via a web interface or to change the content with a variety of editors without ever leaving the Control Panel – a code editor, an HTML editor or a plain text editor. We've also added help articles and video lessons, that you can access from the File Manager to find out more about its capabilities.
File Manager in Semi-dedicated Hosting
The File Manager tool, which is an important part of our custom Hepsia hosting Control Panel, shall give you 100 % control over your web content and will remove the need of using third-party applications. If you want to upload a file to your semi-dedicated server account, you'll simply need to drag-and-drop it, since the File Manager supports uploads, so you'll not have to use an FTP client anymore. You shall also be able to relocate folders and files inside the account just as fast and their structure will be kept intact. If you want to change the permissions of any file, to create a password-protected area for a domain name or a subdomain or to modify a file using a plain text or an HTML editor, you will simply have to use the right-click, since you may access all these features through right-click context menus - you’ll feel like you’re working on your home computer. To make managing your content so much easier, you shall be able to sort it in ascending or descending order by size, name or last modified date.
