No Data Corruption & Data Integrity in Shared Website Hosting
If you host your sites in a shared website hosting account from our firm, you don't have to worry about any of your data ever getting damaged. We can guarantee that since our cloud hosting platform employs the advanced ZFS file system. The aforementioned is the only file system which works with checksums, or unique digital fingerprints, for each and every file. Any kind of information that you upload will be kept in a RAID i.e. simultaneously on multiple NVMe drives. A lot of file systems synchronize the files between the separate drives with this kind of a setup, but there is no real warranty that a file won't be corrupted. This could happen throughout the writing process on any drive and after that a damaged copy may be copied on all other drives. What makes the difference on our platform is the fact that ZFS examines the checksums of all files on all of the drives in real time and if a corrupted file is discovered, it is substituted with a good copy with the correct checksum from another drive. That way, your info will remain unharmed no matter what, even if a whole drive fails.
No Data Corruption & Data Integrity in Semi-dedicated Hosting
If you obtain one of our semi-dedicated hosting packages, you will not have to worry about silent file corruption since we use ZFS - a high level file system that keeps track of all files in real time. Whenever you upload a file to your web hosting account, ZFS will assign a unique digital fingerprint to it - the so-called checksum. This file will be synced between several NVMe drives for redundancy, so if one drive fails, the other ones will take over. ZFS compares the checksum of all the copies on the different drives and when it detects a corrupted copy, it replaces it with a healthy one from a different drive. This is done in real time, so there will be no danger for any part of your content at any moment. In comparison, all of the other file systems carry out checks only after a system breakdown, but since they don't use anything similar to the checksums which ZFS uses, they will not detect silently corrupted files, so a corrupted copy can be replicated on the remaining drives as well and you could lose precious data. Because this isn't the case with ZFS, we warrant the integrity of every single file you upload no matter what.
