A catch-all feature that is activated for a particular email mailbox will permit you to receive email messages that are sent to email addresses that do not really exist. Otherwise put, if you deactivate an email address and somebody still sends an email to it, or to any miswritten email address under the very same domain name, you’ll get the message in the catch-all mailbox. Using this feature means that you will no longer miss an email for any reason, which could be crucial if you are running some company, for instance. Since you may start receiving spam, you can combine the catch-all option with anti-spam filters so as to receive only real messages in your inbox. Only one single mailbox per domain name can be a catch-all one and email forwarding cannot be activated for a catch-all mailbox.

Catch-all Emails in Shared Website Hosting

You will be able to configure a catch-all mailbox effortlessly if you’ve got a shared website hosting account with us. The Email Manager tool in our in-house developed Hepsia Control Panel is full-featured, yet remarkably easy to work with, and it will allow you to enable various options, including the catch-all one, with only several clicks of the mouse. All the mailboxes that you’ve set up will be enumerated alphabetically in this section and on the right side of each one of them you’ll notice a small "Catch-all" sign. Clicking on it once will activate this feature, clicking on it for a second time will deactivate it. As you can have just one such catch-all mailbox per domain, our system will notify you if you already have a different one with this option activated or if you have enabled email forwarding.

Catch-all Emails in Semi-dedicated Hosting

You will be able to configure a catch-all email address with no more than a click in case you have a Linux semi-dedicated hosting package with our company and your emails are handled by our cloud platform. All the addresses that you set up with any domain hosted in the semi-dedicated hosting account will be enumerated in the Hepsia Control Panel’s Email Manager section. Each of them will have a small "Catch-all" icon next to it, so all it will take to activate the feature will be to click that icon. In the very same fashion you will be able to deactivate the feature, in case you no longer need it. Our system will let you know if you’re attempting to activate a 2nd catch-all mailbox for a particular domain name or if there is activated email forwarding, but it will never deactivate or modify any feature automatically and without your consent.
